Blanche B. Cohen

BLANCHE B. COHEN 92 of West Palm Beach, Florida formerly of New Haven, CT passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014. Excelling in mathematics in high school, Blanche was a well-respected bookkeeper in New Haven as early as her teen years. Later, she managed the neighborhood pharmacy that she co-owned with her husband Harold. After retirement, she and Harold moved to Florida where she enjoyed attending classes and actively supporting those around her. She cherished her family. Blanche was an early and lifelong supporter of Israel through Pioneer Women. Blanche is pre-deceased by her husband Harold Cohen, brother Harold Bernstein and sister Dorothy Dickholtz. She is survived by her children, son Michael Alan Cohen and his wife Roby Cohen; daughter Barbara Cohen Lerman and her husband Allen H. Lerman; grandchildren Jeffrey Charles Lerman, Melissa Ann Lerman and her husband Eric Berger, Ari Richard Lerman, Julie Anna Cohen and Josie Ruth Cohen; great-grandchildren Benjamin Harry Berger and Ella Rebecca Berger.
