I received Flowers from this active duty military guy once and this is what the Flowers Yielded I thought I would share

Lloyd and I visited you , Dad and Doug today .  It’s comforting to know you are together.   I love you and miss you !  You were an amazing mom !   ❤️

Celia was such a sweet, funny, & classy lady. I will always remember her kindness to Olivia and I.  And I always thought it was so nice when she would call me occasionally. She always made me laugh. She was blessed to have lived such a long, full life but now she is at peace and will have eternal life in paradise.  🙏🏻 My deepest sympathy and condolences go out  to Lori and family. 🕯 ❤️  

Grandma,
One very strong woman, the matriarch of the family. You will be missed. 
I have so many fond memories with you! I loved staying over at your house in Delray, playing cards on the patio with your friends, fishing in the backyard, and just spending time with you. I enjoyed your stories about Japan and the journey you had to take to visit  Joseph without any communication along the way.  I enjoyed your delicious brisket on the Jewish holidays. Yummy! Leilani Sol loved talking to you on FaceTime and spending time with you in person. She still carries  her favorite picture of you around with her. We will all miss you very much. 

To me Celia was a rare treasured relic, she was born in 1927 and grew up a child of the 1930’s, the children born in that era faced the most devastating  Great Depression as well as     plagues, famish and of course an epic war. To have grown up in a time of such uncertainty and despair to our present day where she was blessed to have witnessed first hand her great grandchildren play on their iPads and FaceTime her must have felt glorious. Celia was a treasure trove of memories in which she loved to share, most of course were of her husband (Joseph) but many were of her beautiful family and doting rock star of a daughter Lori.  Celia, I will miss our talks, our shared love of balsamic Brussels  sprouts  and being girly girls. Rest beautifully, Celia. Xoxo 

My Mom was special.  She raised me to be kind, curious , respectful and helpful .  She took my brother and I to the theater, the opera , museums and parks. She loved her family in Baltimore , we’d visit them often.  She was beautiful and had amazing style !  She adorned her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was graceful and caring , funny , witty and strong . As she grew older we became even closer; speaking daily and spending time together often.  I watched her age with grace , playing bridge well into her eighties, reading books about places and people and giving money to charities that were meaningful to health causes and her .  She courageously battled illness and never complained.  She enjoyed conversing with people and learning what  was important to them. She cared about others ! I respected her and loved her dearly . 
I will miss her everyday.  I love you Mom , I hope you have somehow reunited with Dad and Douglas , I know you wanted to be “home” with them.   May you finally be at peace .  Love ,

Grandma CC  was an amazing woman of class... 
I put rollers in  her hair  , make  up  on and jewelry so she could look like a queen to play card with me and of I always win .
One day we found an old phone  that she wanted to give to her grandson... .lol...
I miss you alot ...you  were  a wonderful .person and I will always remember you.... RIP 🙏 



Celia was like a second mother to me as I lost my mother early in life. She always asked how my daughter and more recently how my granddaughter was doing. We visited with her frequently. She would ask multiple times if we wanted a coffee or something to eat. She shared some of her stories and memories multiple times as well. She coined the phrase “getting old is not for sissies.” I will miss Celia. May her memory be a blessing.

Grandma Celia:

You were loved and will be missed. Thank you for the fond childhood memories of briskets and music and arts and shows and sleepovers. You exposed your children and grandchildren to so many wonderful things and your tastes were so broad. I will never forget our shared love of Paul Newman movies and especially how much you loved the “Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head” scene in “Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid.”  We will remember you through our attachments to arts, theater, and music and I hope to do as good a job as you did sharing my love of them with the next generation.
