Eunice was born to Louis and May Swedelson in the Bronx, New York. Her love story with her husband of 70 years, Larry, began at the age of 16. They married when Eunice was 18 and shared a life filled with love, moving from the Bronx to New Jersey, where they raised their three sons Jan, Paul, and David.
Eunice was a stay-at-home mother to her boys, and then later worked for many years as a Bookkeeper for Medical Economics in Oradell, New Jersey. After 30 years in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, Eunice and Larry retired to Boynton Beach, Florida, creating another chapter that spanned three joyful decades until Larry's passing in 2021.
In her final years, Eunice relocated to Farmington Hills, Michigan, to be near her eldest son and his wife, Jan and Michelle. They provided unwavering support, assisting Eunice through the transitions from independent living to assisted living, and ultimately to a group home where she received the extra attention she needed.
For Eunice, every day and every moment was a ``blessing.” She would often say "Don't Blink” because your life flies by you too quickly. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, her enduring love, her amazing resilience, and the profound impact she had on the lives of her family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held to honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Eunice was predeceased by her parents, her brother Raymond Swedelson, and her husband. She is survived by her children Jan (and Michelle) Sherman in Michigan, Paul (and Nancy) Sherman in New York, and David (and Stacie) Sherman in New Jersey; her grandchildren Jamie (and Ben) Blinder, Nicole (and Michael) O’Donnell, Jared (and Kelsey) Sherman, Evan (and Jenny) Sherman, Zacary, Cara, Jeremy, and Emma Sherman and Cameron and Brielle Babula; five great-grandchildren: Ava, Milo, Theo, Benjamin and Miles; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
