

Florence Rosenthal passed away on January 19, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Boris and Tillie (Mendelson) Jablon. Florence grew up in The Bronx, and graduated from James Monroe HS. She attended Hunter College and married her husband Seymour in 1945, right before he shipped off to the war. Florence worked as a bookkeeper for many years in Queens, NY and was active in the Whitestone Hebrew Centre. In fact, she was the first female president of a conservative synagogue in the USA. Florence and Seymour raised their three children in Flushing ,NY until 1984 when they moved to Florida. Since moving to Florida, Florence was an active member of Temple Beth Zion in Royal Palm Beach and was deeply involved in NA'AMAT USA. Florence was pre-deceased in life by her beloved husband Seymour and her dear daughter Marsha. She is survived by her loving children, son Richard (Debbie) Rosenthal and her daughter Audrey (Norman) Prince. She was a cherished grandmother to Adam Rosenthal, Noah Rosenthal, Michael Morris, Craig Morris and Lauren Morris and an adoring great-grandmother of Tara Blue, Aaron Blue, Samantha Morris, Carly Morris, Josh Morris and Joey Morris. She will be greatly missed by her family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Noon at IJ Morris at Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach, Fl 33412 (561) 627-2277.
