

Fred Rosenberg (84), known for his kind heart, generosity, and sense of humor passed away on March 18, 2022 in Delray Beach, FL. Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, Fred was the beloved son of George and Ada and brother of the late Alma. He raised his family in New Jersey and retired to Florida in 2020. Fred was a devout husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, cousin and dear friend to many. Fred was a loving husband to his wife Alice. He loved his children with all his heart. He never missed an opportunity to cheer for them in sports, performances, and events. This love and dedication extended to his grandchildren, too. They could always spot their beloved Poppy in his bright yellow shirt cheering them on because he was a fixture at every game, concert, and school event. Fred's career as an institutional trader on Wall Street spanned nearly 50 years. He brought his knowledge, expertise, and witty sense of humor to every firm he worked for and was love and respected by his colleagues and friends. Fred loved collecting and saving things. His collections of stamps, coins, baseball memorabilia, and autographs brought him immense joy. But his true passion was his family. Fred will be greatly missed by his wife Alice, son Randy (and fiancé Heather) daughters Jill (and husband Scott) and Elise (and husband Mitch), his grandchildren Olivia, Jack, Geoffrey, Naomi, Sawyer and Dexter, his nieces Lisa (and wife Sherri), Lynn (and husband Joe), and Sue (and husband Tom), and the many cousins, friends, and colleagues wo loved him.
