Herbert J Shapiro August 10, 1926 - July 10, 2013 Pre-deceased by Nancy, his loving wife of 53 years. Herb and Nancy retired from Old Bethpage, New York to Lake Worth in 1990, where he enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and gin rummy at Wycliffe Golf and Country Club. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy, having served during WWII. Survived by daughter Shelley and her husband Larry, son David and his wife Elin, brother Bob, sister Doris, grandchildren Eden, Zackary, Aaron & Chase, and nieces Beth, Abby and Marissa. Services will be held at the Star of David Funeral Chapel of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, Sunday, July 21st, at 9:30AM.
