Miss you Buddy…loved the times we shared 

Dear Liz. Rita called and shared the sad news of Buddy's passing. Words cannot express how sorry we are. We so enjoyed spending time with both of you during your last visit to Wisconsin and looked forward to seeing you this summer. Virtual hugs to all of you. Marie and Tony 

I am a better man for having had Buddy's love and friendship in my life.  His smile and laughter were my Sunrise.  If I told a joke, I didn't need an audience, I just needed Buddy! I will miss him so much and I will selfishly hold on to his love, forever.  

For 25  years I struggled but somehow I thought I knew how to snow ski.  Then, I met Buddy on a ski trip to Crested Butte, Colorado.  He taught me how to improve my skiing by being true and honest with the mountain.  He showed me how a ski slope will give back what you give to it.   And that was Buddy too!  He gave back to all those he loved what he received and even more in return.  

To me, the jury is still out on whether there is an after-life.  But I do know that life itself is so, so precious.   My friend, my Buddy, made life good. 


I was so sad to hear of Buddy's passing yesterday.  We went through high school together. Watching him play basketball was always exciting.  Seeing him at our reunion 2 years ago was one of the highlights of the night for me.  He was a great guy- always smiling, always kind and always finding the humor in life.  I remember when we found out that Zach was Buddy's nephew- knowing Zach all this time- it was like "old home week".  This is a tough one- such great memories of a  wonderful person.  May his memory be a blessing.  Thinking of Buddy and family.....
