Milton devoted his working life to teaching, serving as a high school vocational teacher, an adult-education instructor, as well as a camp counselor.
For more than 40 years, Milton shared a life with his wife, Estelle Kessler, building a family grounded in devotion and care. His love for those closest to him was evident not only in what he did, but in the way he made people feel; welcomed, valued, and truly beloved.
Milton’s curiosity and sense of adventure showed in the life he chose to live: traveling, continuing to learn, cooking, playing tennis or golf, and spending happy hours tinkering—always making, improving, and creating with his hands. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and an amazing sense of memory with a remarkable recalling of dates and occasions.
He had a simple, unforgettable way of expressing appreciation. Anyone who knew Milton would recognize his heartfelt refrain, “Thank you, thank you, thank you...”
Milton was preceded in death by his father, Philip Kessler; his mother, Pauline Kessler; his wife, Estelle Kessler; his brothers, Abraham Kessler, Nathan Kessler, Bernard Kessler, and Irving Kessler; and his sister, Mildred Weiner.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherie Goldstein; his son, Dr. David (Linda) Kessler; his grandsons, James “Jamie” (Danielle) Goldstein, Andrew (Dr. Abbey Thompson) Kessler, Zac (Emily Kurz) Goldstein, and Dr. Eric (Sarah) Kessler; his great-grandchildren, Hadley, Carson, Elliot, and Gavin Goldstein; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on May 29, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches located at 9321 Memorial Park Road Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
