Dr. Morton Bernard Glenn, MD passed away at age 91 at home in West Palm Beach, Florida on March 1, 2014. Formerly of New York City, Dr. Glenn was born in New York in 1922, son of Mimi and Harold Glenn. He was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, 1942 and New York University School of Medicine, 1946. Served in the US Naval Medical Corps, 1947-1949. Dr. Glenn was a pioneer in the treatment of obesity. He was a teacher, lecturer, author and clinician. Fellow and past president of the American College of Nutrition. Preceded in death by his wife, Justine Glenn. Beloved brother of Arnold Glenn of North Palm Beach, FL.; adored father and father-in-law of Wendy Glenn & Marianne Lowenthal, Valerie Glenn Jorgensen, John Glenn & Nan, Adrienne Harkavy & Jerry, Marcia Stamberg & Arthur. Also survived by his dearly loved grandchildren, Lena, Henry, Allan, Edward, Michael & Erika, Dan & Amy, four great grandchildren, nieces, grand nieces and nephews. Memorial service at IJ Morris at Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach, Fl.
