Richard Philip Baime born February 15, 1926 in Newark, New Jersey to Stella and Israel Baime. Richard attended Syracuse University in 1948 obtaining a BS in Accounting. Richard became a Certified Public Accountant in 1949 and became a partner in the Accounting firm of Aboff, Fink, Krauss, Schwartz, Baime and O'r Eilly until they merged with a regional firm in 2000 where he worked until 2010. Richard continued to work on a semi retired basis with Michael Safris after that.
Richard married Harriett (Kassover) Baime in June of 1954. Richard is survived by his 3 sons Eric, David, and Jonathan Baime, his grandchildren Samantha, Gregory and Melanie Baime and his great grandson Jackson Pantusco along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Richard was a member of Congregation Beth El in South Orange N.J. for over 60 Years where he served as treasurer and a board member for many years and later became a member of Temple Emanuel of Palm Beach, Fl. In addidtion to synagogue activities along with Harriette he limited his charitable activities primarily to Jewish and Israel causes. both Harriette and Richard enjoyed the social aspects of golf as members of Green Brook country club in North Caldwell, N.J. and High Ridge Country Club in Palm Beach County Florida.
Graveside Services will be held on Sunday December 13, 2020 3PM at IJ Morris at Star of David Cemetery in Palm Beach Gardens Florida. Contributions in Richard's memory may be made to the United Jewish Appeal and the American Heart Association.
