Ruth Nachbar

Ruth Nachbar, 97, a resident of La Posada Senior Residence in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away on April 23, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Betty and Jacob Shubitz. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 38 years, Marty Haltman, father of her children. Ruth was blessed to have a second wonderful marriage to Ben Nachbar, whom she was married to for almost 30 years who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her brother Aaron.

Ruth spent her career as the vice president of an advertising agency. She loved her work and was loved by all. She had a passion for travel, education, the arts, current events and was an avid reader. She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy and Barbara, son-in-law Terry, grandchildren Daniel and Jessica, great grandchildren Logan, Tyler, Grace, sister-in-law, cousin-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ruth will be remembered for her love of family, friends and concern for the welfare of others. She was a classy woman and known for her intellect, kindness, compassion, and generosity. She will be celebrated with great love by her family, friends, and many others that lived in her heart, as she now lives in theirs.

Funeral arrangements will be held at the Star of David Funeral Chapel of the Palm Beaches, at noon on Monday May 9th, at 9321 Memorial Park Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33412
