I think of you and miss you dearly Sandy. Last year when I reached out to you  and found out you had transition month before, I was shocked and so sad.  I had known  you around 3 decades and imagined you’d always be here. You lived a full life, one of the most caring, compassionate souls I have known. Deepest condolences to your family. I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Your mother's name was mentioned for Shabbat Kaddish via Temple Israel. I knew the name and searched and recognized the same face I remember as a child. Your mom was always "the cool mom". She was unique.  I enjoyed being at your house with our group of friends when we were growing up.  We are never ready to lose a parent and it is especially tragic to watch from afar and to lose her due to the pandemic. My heart goes out to all of you and your families.

Sandra Landsman of Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens, FL (formerly of Farmington Hills, MI) , age 87, lost her 4 month battled with Covid related complications of congestive heart failure on August 28, 2020. Our mom, leaves behind a loving family (daughters Vicki, Faith, and Jill and son Jonathan and our families), Sister in law and brother in law, grandchildren, nephews/nieces, cousins, and many dear friends who could only offer limited support, from afar, during this pandemic. All did their best to keep in constant contact with her through the last months of life. 
In her last hours as she transitioned to hospice at Trust Bridge of Palm Beach, my sister Jill and I were able to fly in from Michigan and to be by her side.  This allowed our immediate family to speak with her to continue to convey our love. 
Mom was a PhD psychotherapist practicing for over 50 years. We believe it was always her mission to help others. We thought it only fitting to donate her furniture etc. to Our Sister's Place, one of her favorite charity's, to continue her legacy. She will be cremated, again her terms and her wishes. 
We have returned to Michigan to quarantine and are still working out details and plans to memorialize mom.  To reach our family please write in care  of Jill Landsman: 1200 Tonda Dr. Ortonville, MI 48462
