He was a devoted husband, loving father and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. Sandy’s pride and joy was his family: his wife, Marilyn, his children and step-children, Janet (Matthew), Julie (Steven), Debbie, Lauri, Stacey and Andrew, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Sandy graduated from Cornell University and New York University School of Law, and served in the United States Air Force as a JAG attorney. He then practiced as a Labor Lawyer for many years in New Jersey where he raised his girls with his late wife, Sophie.
Sandy married Marilyn over forty years ago and eventually retired to Florida to enjoy a life of sunshine, bridge, tennis and stickball. He continued to root for his beloved LA Dodgers and NY Rangers and loved watching all sports.
Sandy had a zest for life and loved nothing better than spending time with friends and family. He will be sorely missed by all who love him.
A funeral service will be held at South Florida National Cemetery, located at 6501 FL-7, Wellington, FL 33449, on November 6, 2025, starting at 9:30am.
