Sol Matlick

Sol Matlick of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 88. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 66 years, Roslyn (nee Falcon), his brother Harvey (Arlene) Matlick, his daughter Rena (Mike) Hall, son Michael Matlick, grandchildren Brian Hall, Sean (Catalina) Hall, Krystyna Matlick, Nick Matlick, Tyler Cleveland; great granddaughter, Luna Outlaw; and cherished extended family.

Sol was born in Brooklyn, New York to Max and Lillian Matlick, married Roz in 1957, and in 1962 they moved to Merrick, NY, to raise their family. After his service in the military he worked for, and retired from, Air Canada. During his 30 years of airline employment Sol & Roz traveled the world but their favorite place to visit later in life was Las Vegas.

Sol & Roz moved to Jupiter, FL, in 1990 to be closer to family and enjoyed their retirement years with their grandchildren.

Sol never knew a stranger, always had a smile on his face, and loved living life surrounded by family.

A chapel service will take place on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 12:00pm at IJ Morris at Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches with burial to follow. Shiva will take place after at 147 Ocean Pines Terrace, Jupiter, FL. 33477 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
