

She was born November 7, 1934 in the Bronx to Karl and Marian Bloomgarden. Her son Louis Ralph Diamond, was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and her son, Philip Alan Diamond was born in Albany, NY.
She married Ed Dubov in 1972 in Albany and moved with him to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1975. They enjoyed playing golf and tennis and square dancing, and traveling until Ed’s passing in 2003. After that, she and her best friend, Gayle Laurene, bought a house together in Jupiter, Florida. Gayle and Toby moved to The Villages in 2021.
She worked as a Registered nurse, electrician, puppeteer, and pharmacy technician into her eighties.
She was active in Temple Beth El in West Palm Beach, Congregation Beth Am in Jupiter, Fl, and Chabad of Ocala and The Villages. She and Gayle taught classes in Beth Am and for the women at Chabad as well as bringing the Passover seder to the Philippines and as a Sar El volunteer in Israel.
She was predeceased by her parents, Karl and Marian, her brother Marvin, and husband Ed and his daughter Susan.
She is survived by her sons Louis (Milka) and Philip, grandchildren Jennifer Diamond Chalker (Phillip), Benjamin Diamond (Melodie), Hayley Diamond, Katherine Diamond, and Michael Diamond and great great grandchildren Arye Leib, Menachem Mendel, Elisheva, Zahava Sara, Mushka, Tvi Dov, and Yonatan Diamond and Sigmund and Clara Chalker and Ed’s grandchildren, Scott and Jonathan Polhemus.
She is also survived by Gayle Laurene, her friend for over 40 years who was her primary caregiver for the last year and Deborah Oblaczynski who loved her like a mother.
