

Alejandro Montoya, 71, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Born in Pasadena Texas on November 30, 1953, to the late Eliseo and Catherine Montoya. He graduated from Sam Rayburn High School and completed one year of college.
He lived a life devoted to his family and friends as well as his service to others. He was married to his beloved wife, Ester Montoya, for 40 wonderful years. After 28 years with the United States Postal Service, he retired, yet his dedication to helping others remained steadfast.
He devoted much of his time supporting numerous charitable organizations, including United Way, Eagles Club, Wounded Warriors, and Salvation Army.
His passions included watching the Houston Astros and Texans play, following boxing, and keeping up with current events through the news and the newspaper. He was also known for his love of singing, often sharing his joy with those around him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ester, and his son, Rudy Sanchez.
He is survived by his daughter, Eva Hernandez; son, Billy Sanchez and wife, Julie; daughter, Jeanie Villarreal and husband, Ozzie; daughter, Catherine Montoya and husband, Joseph; daughter, Alessandra Montoya and husband, Martin; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was loved by so many family members and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, generosity, and joy will live on in the hearts of those he left behind.
