Alice Darlene Bennett

Alice Darlene Bennett, 65 years old, of Pasadena, Texas went to be with the Lord and the love of her life on September 9, 2013. Alice was born on May 1, 1948 in Arp, Texas to Sam and Katie Hemby. She was married to Bill Bennett for 45 loving years. Alice is survived by her sister, Kathy Barnes and her husband Mike of Austin, Texas; children, Billy Ray Bennett of Liberty, Texas; and Rachael Parham and her husband Mark of Pearland, Texas; grandchildren, Christian Bennett, Robert Bennett, Sydney Parham, and Gage Parham; and many nieces and nephews. She also had a number of very dear friends and family that are too great to list. Alice was a kind, loving wife and mother and always put her family first. She spent her career in the real estate business as an escrow closer. She made herself famous for her numerous collections and had a stubborn streak she was never afraid to show. During a time like this we realize how much our family and friends mean to us. Your kind expression of sympathy will always be remembered.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home.
