Billie Louise Reams Williams

Billie met Raymond Williams in Crane, TX, and they were married on October 16, 1953 spending 58 wonderful years together. After living in San Tome’, Venezuela where Raymond worked sixteen years for the Gulf Oil Co. they moved to Houston in 1961, and Raymond started his compressor repair business. Raymond was the love of Billie’s life. They enjoyed spending their time traveling with their RV club and good friends to places such as Mexico and Alaska. Billie was a member of Watters Road Church of Christ and was especially proud of her association with her “Circle of Sisters” group. She loved to garden, and was a wonderful cook. She took great delight in preparing for all the family to be home for a big meal or special occasion.

Billie is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Fricha Waechter; parents, Ray and Agnes Reams and her son, David Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Williams; sister, Margie Hearon of Midland, TX; sons, Donny Williams and wife Cindy, Larry Williams and wife Jill; grandchildren, Christy Williams, Laura Parker and husband Shawn, Ben Williams, Bryan Williams, Travis Williams and Ashley Ferry; great-grandchildren, Carson Parker, Evan Parker and Lilliana Williams; as well as a large extended family.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, April 27, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment following at Grand View Memorial Park.
