So many memories....Her love for me was felt miles away. Just a phone call away.Always a ," give yourself a hug". "I need me a helicopter so I can come see you." So I bought her a helicopter ...from the toy department. Mailed it to her and told her Elvis ran it thru a car wash and shrunk it! Just a few weeks ago she said I still have my helicopter, it's in the cabinet with Elvis." Well she called it a heli copter.
    Friends for 30ish years, Forever in my heart, "Always On My Mind".
  I love you my dear sweet Bonnie.Til we meet again in Heaven PLEASE stay out of trouble in Heaven til I get there, then we can get into all kinds of mischief .


Aunt Bonnie was a hard working, kind, sweet lady.  She took care of her parents for over twenty years. She was their primary caretaker and she said she had the one job in the world that couldn't be replaced with another person. She was right. She was the only one who could do for her parents and husband the way they needed. 
There are so many memories I have that are precious. I remember her love of Elvis and all things EP. She was very talented and artistic. She did the flowers and cake for my wedding. All of which were very beautiful. Her home at Christmas time was always so awesome. When she lived on Stafford before my grandparents passed away, she had a Santa on his sleigh with the reindeer that she put on the roof of her house every year. Later she had a singing Elvis decoration that she also added to her collection. 
I remember one year, my dad...her brother, bought some snake skin boots. She didn't like his boots because she was afraid of snakes. He would make a little hiss sound and tap his boot a few times out and she would just say "Stop it Jimmy". 
We weren't close in later years, as I moved around a lot, but she is definitely missed. I cherish the times I did get to spend with her and love her. I know she is up there with her husband and her parents and my father now, but she will definitely be missed by all of us here living. She touched so many people's lives with her offbeat sense of humor and her love of Elvis and the kindness she showed.
I love you Aunt Bonnie and I will always remember you like the photo I am sharing.

She was the sweetest woman you'd ever meet. She loved with her whole heart and wouldnt dare ever hurt a fly. I cant believe she is gone. I wish I'd had the chance to say goodbye. The memory that stands out the most is with my husband. He was 17 at the time I think and didnt want to come inside when my mom and I stopped by to visit. Aunt Bonnie asked how he was and I told her he was out in the car. She asked why he didnt come in and I told her he didnt want to impose. She literally went outside with a tension rod and told him to his hiney inside or she was gonna give him an enema! She was kidding of course but she told him she wouldn't have him sitting out in a hot van to wait and took him inside. She gave him a glass of iced tea and sat him down while she and my mommy visited. She was always like that. She cared about everyone. I miss playing Sega and N64 with her. Banjo and Tooie she loved that and Donkey Kong :) I miss you but I am so very thankful you arent suffering now. You and mom behave up there. No driving drunk on the wrong side of the tunnel ok. Give Mom and Grandma a kiss for me and know I love you, always.

I remember she always wanted to change birthdays with me..  I was born on Elvis birthday and she was born on the 9th and she would always play the movie Six Pack with Kenny Rogers..  I always loved going to her house and spend time with her and Uncle Larry..  I loved when she came to visit us in California and she was in Roy Paul room and he loved the perfume she always wears...  I going to miss her I know she's with mamaw and papaw, daddy and Uncle Larry..  I will always love you and I will miss you.. 

Remember bonnie and larry,first husband taking me to the car shows and painting a 10 speed bicycle for me ,and pulling weeds around her fence. one Christmas they bought me a red digatal watch it was so cool.  fond memories always fun to be around with we will miss u bonnie rest in peace .

I’ve lost my best friend of 15 years ! You were my Godmother “Mom” sent from heaven to fill a void when I lost mine .  I will miss telling you how much I love you , seeing you everyday, going to the movies , going out to eat ,laughing & listening to all the stories of your life.  I learned so much from you & will keep you close to my heart always ! Give mom, dad & Elvis a hug & kiss for me!   Love you momma! 😘 I will always love you!

One of my best memories of aunt Bonnie...the first time she met my oldest son, she immediately wanted to make him an Elvis jumpsuit.  I’ll never ever forget that.  Love her witty and spitfire attitude and sense of humor.  We miss you aunt Bonnie!
