He was born in Marshfield, Missouri on June 1st, 1934, the son of Herman Tade and Anna Melvin Tade. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1952. He then joined the Navy and served 2 years on an aircraft carrier The SS Hancock.
Bruce married Betty June Bailey on June 11th, 1955 in Marshfield, MO. They were married for 69 years and had two children.
He worked for Diamond Shamrock as an operator and Warehouse supervisor for over 30 years. Bruce loved fishing, going to the lake, mowing on his John Deere and watching the Astros. He was also member of The First Christian Church of Pasadena and The Deepwater Optimist Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Betty June Tade, Brother Leroy Tade, Daughter Sherrie Williams and her spouse Dennis, Son DeWayne Tade, Granddaughters Amanda Piggott and her spouse Jarrett, Ashley Williams and her spouse Calvin Riggs, Great Granddaughters, Lorelai and Berkleigh Piggott.
A visitation for Bruce will be held Monday, August 26, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at First Christian Church-Pasadena, 4848 Preston Ave, Pasadena, TX 77505, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
