Ms. Dayna Therese Pinder was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, September 23, 2019 at her home in Conroe, Texas at age 45. Heaven surely rejoiced and she is preceded in death by her son Jordan Scott Young, and her Meemaw Joan Marie Risinger.
Dayna was born on April 13, 1974 in Pasadena, Texas. Her parents are George and Deborah Pinder. She was a blessing, a true bundle of joy. Full of life, a very alert, vibrant and busy child.
She had an uncanny sense of humor, so witty and smart! She had many talents. She appreciated anything gadgetry and or techy. One of our fondest memories is when she created a video that was so funny that we watched it over and over.
Though she didn’t graduate from high school she did receive her G.E.D.
She was great with numbers and excelled in accounting. The Lord blessed her at her latest job when it was said from a CPA resource, “She’s good! She is the most qualified person I’ve ever met from your company, and she is worth more money, you need to give her a raise!” Which occurred immediately!
She had her Meemaw’s sense of fashion and flare. She was very creative and spent some of her time making jewelry. She was spirited and loved a good adventure or challenge. Like her life she loved bling and sparkle!
She also loved to take a good book, snuggle up and read it through and through. She read many books, the Bible being her favorite. Not only was she an avid reader but would dive in and research any subject matter she might have read that piqued her interest.
She had a passion and tender heart for animals. She was very attached to her dog “Chewie” who she lovingly nicknamed Mr. Baby.
Dayna was blessed with a loving family. Her Pappaw Carl and Meemaw Joan were the beginning of her foundation of faith and she had a servant’s heart. God led that servant’s heart to Christ Over Our Life (C.O.O.L.) ministries where she began helping in the sound booth, office, and doing live Facebook session with Pastor Boyd Harrell. She wanted to be busy doing the Lord’s work. One of her God given visions was helping other women via a prison ministry.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her sons Ryan Thomas Young and Jonas Bodie Ragan, her parents Deborah and George, her sister Leeanne, and her Pappaw Carl Risinger and a host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive visitors on Monday September 30, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm at Grand View Funeral Chapel, 8501 Spencer Hwy. Pasadena, Texas 77505. The funeral service will be on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park.
