He was preceded by his father Ben Hall Guynes, mother Audrey Joines and his sister Beverly Vaughn. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ann Guynes of 25 years, son Jody Guynes and wife Charity and son Eric Hall Guynes daughter Amy Dawn Guynes, and step-daughter Wendy Dionnne Sellers. Don had 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Don received an honorable discharge from the United States Coast Guard. He worked at John D. Mercer & Associates of Edna, Texas, was a Building Inspector for the City of Pearland, Texas, as well as a Building Inspector for the City of Palacios. He was a bull rider as young man, he enjoyed the outdoors, and was an avid fisherman. Don loved his beer, the casinos and his family most of all. Don was a wonderful husband, father, papa, and friend.
