Doris Mae Martin, 88, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Doris was born February 23, 1928 in Houston, Texas to the late James Lee and Eleda Macchi Rich. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Jeff Martin, Jr.. Doris grew up in the Heights area of Houston and graduated from Reagan High School in 1945. She and Jeff married in 1948 and soon after moved to Pasadena, where they lived and enjoyed the remainder of their 57 plus years together. Doris leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her sisters Margery Sumrall and Barbara Rich; along with brother-in-law Clinton Sumrall and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
