Dorothy Mae Mahaffey

Dorothy Mae Mahaffey, 95 of Pasadena, Texas was born May 13, 1926 in Robeline, Louisiana to Henry and Rosalee (Nelson) Withers and passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Kingwood, Texas. She was a very quiet and private lady who enjoyed fishing and taking care of her home. She also enjoyed watching gameshows on TV especially the Wheel of Fortune. She liked the simpler things in life like attending and being a member of 2nd Baptist Church of Pasadena for over 60 years and eating ice cream, which Blue Bell was her favorite.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Pam Cooper and husband, Joel; Deborah Holder and husband, Billy; son, Timothy Mahaffey and wife, Shawnee; 3 grandchildren, Chad, Stephen and Tara; 6 great-grandchildren, Dade Holder, Nathan Holder, Noah Holder, Nick Holder, Matthew Mahaffey and Teddy Mahaffey; sister, Doris Thomas along with other family and friends.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Noble Mahaffey and her 5 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Grand View Funeral Home with visitation being held and hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her great-grandsons, Nathan Holder, Noah Holder, Nick Holder, Teddy Mahaffey, Matthew Mahaffey and Dade Holder

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
