Horace E. Mann (Ed) passed away on July 7, 2014 in Deer Park, TX at the age of 66. He was born on September 13, 1947 in Pasadena, TX to Horace Dustin Mann and Lillie Becker Mann. Ed is retired from the US Post office and from the Texas Air National Guard. He was currently working at BEI and loving it. Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Lillie Mann; and brother, Paul Mann. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Dana Manley-Mann; his pugalicious dog, Teddy Mann; sister, Dianne Davis; sisters-in-law, Pam Manley and Peggy Lynn Manley; brothers-in-law, Ben Neal and Michael Davis; nieces, Kristin Justice and Shelby Mann; nephews, Dustin Mann, Cameron Manley and Brent Hahn; great nieces, Madysen Gonzales and Jessica Justice; great nephew, Peyton Gonzales; great great niece Alexis; and great great nephew, Elijah.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Grand View Funeral Home on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, with funeral servics to begin at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.grandviewfunerals.com
