

She was born on October 20, 1934, in Charco, TX, to Ventura & Adela (Zuniga) Rojas. She graduated from Blackberry Falls High School and went on to be a school teacher in Wisconsin.
She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to many. She loved to crochet, knit, cook and working in her beautiful garden. No one could make a garden grow as beautifully as she could. She loved to bowl and was always the life of the party. She will forever be remembered for her spicy sense of humor and contagious Laugh.
She was preceded in death by both parents; Brothers, Guadalupe, Trenidad, Julio, & Ricardo Rojas; Sister, Emma Villarreal; Daughter, Geneva Alejandro. She is survived by brother, Van Rojas; sisters, Andrea Rodriguez, Virginia & husband Fred Ybarbo, Linda & husband Raymond Vermelyea; daughter, Elida & husband Larry Peterson; son, Fermin Guzman & wife Sylvia; son-in-law, Peter Alejandro; son, Jeffery Wuttke & wife Kimberly; daughter, Annette & husband Victor Villavicencio; son, Robert Rayburn & wife Sherry; son, Andrew Rayburn; daughter, Lydia & husband Walt Adams; 24 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, & nephews. She was our angel and is greatly missed.
Visitation for Elida will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 5-8 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 10 am in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
