Gloria Edwards

Gloria (Espinoza) Edwards, 53 of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on February 21, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. She was born to Librado and Antonia Espinoza on December 25, 1962. She was the best Christmas present ever received.

Gloria married her best friend, her “Gringo”, Orbie Edwards on August 16, 1979. Gloria gave birth to the legend, Eric on June 4, 1979 and the left-handed semi-legend, Serena on March 22, 1989.

Gloria is survived by her parents Librado and Antonia Espinoza. She is further survived by her loving husband of over 36 years; Orbie. Gloria leaves behind her son, Eric and his wife Carrie, and her grandchildren, Sweet-Handsome Colton, Her Chunk Caden, Her soft spoken Emma Leigh, and The Chipper Evan. Also, her daughter Serena and her soon to be fiancé (????) Patrick (No pressure). Gloria leaves behind her big sister Irma and her husband “Coach” Mike Bass and their children; Matt and his fiancé Ashlee, Matthew and his fiancé Malarie, the seldom quite Kathryn, Sweet-Sweet Morgan, and the forever-smiling James. Gloria also leaves behind her little sister, Cynthi, Cindy, Cinthi, Cinthe, she knew what to call you!

Gloria is preceded in death by her sister Olga and her big brother Danny.

In lieu of flowers; Gloria requested donations to be made to either a Scleroderma or a Pulmonary Hypertension foundation of your choice. She wanted people to help spread awareness of these diseases so that others do not have to go through what she did. If preferred, donations could be given to Eric or Serena and a donation will be made in her honor.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena , Texas 77505

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 10:00 am at San Juan Diego Catholic Church, 3301 Pasadena Boulevard Pasadena, Texas 77503. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
