Grace Shandley, born January 10, 1916, in Waller, TX, passed away on November 13, 2010, in Beach City, TX. Grace was a longtime resident of Beach City, TX, and also served on the Beach City Council during the 1980’s. She owned Acme Uniform Service in Pasadena, TX for many years before her retirement. Grace is preceded in death by her parents, W.A. and Carrie Scroggins and husband of 56 years, J.C. Shandley and infant son, Marshall Shandley. She is survived by daughters, Sandy Maxwell and husband Danny and Connie Raven and husband Tim; grandson, Sean Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Gaige and Savannah Maxwell sister, Mildred Denson; life-long friend, Reita Reber and numerous loving family members and friends. Grace enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at Grand View Memorial Park.
