Harvey F. Meyer passed from this life on May 11, 2012 at the age of 92. He was born on June 27, 1919 in Salus, Arkansas to Hiram B. Meyer, Sr. and Allie Meyer. Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, Hiram and Allie Meyer; wife of 38 years, Louise Meyer; 2 brothers, Hiram B. Meyer, Jr., and Berthold S. Meyer; and 1 sister, Violet Harper. He is survived by 1 daughter, Shirley Payne and her husband James; 1 brother, James Meyer and his wife Doris; 3 grandchildren, Steven Payne, David Payne, Pamela Foreman and her husband, Richard; 6 great grandchildren, Steven Payne, Jr., V.J. Payne, Deanna Foreman, Megan Foreman, Kathryn Foreman, Jonathan Foremen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, May 14, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m., with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
