Jaureene Curry, 90, of Pasadena, TX died August 1, 2020. She was a 64 year resident of Pasadena and a 64 year member of Thomas Avenue/Monument Baptist Church active in Sunday School and women’s bible study. She spent her days as a wife, home maker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also helped her husband, Charles Curry, operate Curry’s 66 Service Station for 17 years until his death in 1986.
She was born November 13, 1929 in Meridian, MS to Judson and Lily Belle (Burton) Morgan. On July 19, 1948, she married Charles Curry. Together they raised 3 children, Dewayne, Judy, and Mike Curry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son-in-law, Glenn Mallory. She is survived by sister, Jeanette (Larry) Jimerson of Butler, AL, sons Dewayne (Janice) Curry of La Vernia, TX and Mike (Stephanie) Curry of Deer Park, TX and daughter Judy Mallory of Stephenville, TX., also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
