

Jonathan Doshin was born on February 8, 1982 in Munich, Germany. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents Deborah and Larry Blasingame, his loving wife Dana Patrick, daughter Chloe Madore and siblings Megan Littlejohn and Daniel Blasingame.
Jonathan graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelors in Business. He was compassionate, empathetic and had a passion for helping others. He was a Certified Peer Support Specialist. Jonathan was curious and loved to learn as much as he loved teaching. His role as a Tai Chi teacher and practitioner was very dear to him. Jonathan was highly active in the AA community. He was a spiritual man of God, and an active member of the Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church in Houston, Texas.
Jonathan is known for his sharp, strategic mind and his vivid imagination. He loved to spend quality time with family and friends playing strategic card and board games, WoW and D&D, and baking. He was an incredible storyteller. He wrote exciting fantasy-filled stories and poetry.
Jonathan loved nature hikes, spending time outdoors, and woodworking. He had a deep connection with animals of all kinds, especially his dog, Winston and cat, Kaiser.
Jonathan’s legacy won’t be forgotten. His infectious laugh, warm smile and pure kind spirit lives on in the hearts of his loved ones.
A Memorial Celebration of Jonathan's life will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
