Phil was born on May 5, 1925 to Mary Elizabeth Richey Trahan and William Joseph Trahan.
He was a District Deputy Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas Dist. 30 E, Past Master of Gus A. Brandt Lodge #1296, Past Patron of Rosewyn Chapter # 927, and Member of Galena Park, Archives, and Pasadena Masonic Lodges.
Phil was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty-four years, Bobbie Sue Trahan and grandson Gary Irving. Phil is survived by son James Philip Trahan Jr. and wife Laura; daughter Jan Irving; grandchildren Josh Trahan, Kristin Libby and husband Chris and great grandson Spencer Libby. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
