Juanita Newman Williams passed away In Houston, Texas on August 28, 2013 at the age of 105. She was born in Francis, Oklahoma on May 14, 1908 to the union of William Luther Newman and Viola Rozella Lovett. Juanita was married to Edward Wesley Williams in 1925. They were blessed with 6 children. Juanita and her family moved to Houston in 1943. She was a faithful, loving, hardworking, and a life long member of the Church of Christ. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years Edward Wesley Williams; and an infant child. She is survived by her children, Margarette Clark of Port Orchard, WA, Edward W. Williams, Jr. of Houston, TX, Barbara Cardwell of Tucumcari, NM, Jon Gary Williams of LaVergne, TN, and Kathy Hamm of Pasadena, TX; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and 1 great great great grandchild.
Funeral services will take place on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with a visitation to follow services until 5:00 pm.
