Julia known as Julie to her family and friends and had many accomplishments in life. The greatest accomplishment was being a Granny to Caitlin, Courtlin, and Madelyn. She was family centered and her granddaughters were her world and she made it known they could always count on her. Julie loved Altuve from the Houston Astros, which her youngest granddaughter wears Altuve's number 27 on the back of her softball jersey. She also loved listening to music, dancing, watching her crime shows, and going shopping and out to eat with just the girls.
Julie has not had an easy past several years with her health, but she kept her head up and kept going. We know life will not be easy without her, but know she is at peace and in the arms of Jesus and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica McComb; granddaughters, Caitlin McComb, Courtlin McComb and Madelyn Ayala; brothers, Manuel and Isidro Bocanegra, Jr.; sisters, Connie Lucio, Cindy Murray and husband, Louis and Terry Bocanegra along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents and her brother, Inez Bocanegra.
Thank you for all your support and prayers during this difficult time.
