LaQuita Gradig

LaQuita Nell Gradig passed away on June 5, 2012 in Kirbyville, TX at the age of 77. She was born on March 19, 1935 in Jacksonville, TX to Phillip and Virgie Smith. LaQuita was a long time resident of Pasadena, TX, and an active member of Golden Acres Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Alexander Smith and Virgie Mozelle Bearden-Smith; and 1 brother, Kenneth Smith. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Leo Gradig; 2 daughters, Barbara Gradig, Donna Lacey and her husband Glenn; 7 grandchildren, Christopher Weber, Jeremy Weber, Kevin Bearden, Keith Long, Kyle Long, Kristen Long, Kameron Lacey; 3 great grandchildren, Jett Bearden, Christian Weber, Kason Bearden; 2 brothers, Gene Smith and his wife Linda, Larry Smith and his wife Terry; 1 sister, Joyce Scanlin.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
