Laura Marie Biggs, 64, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Dallas, Texas on June 24, 1961 to James and Evelyn Seaberry. A devoted mother, Gigi, sister, and friend, Laura lived a life full of faith, warmth, and unwavering strength.
Laura met Brian Biggs in the sixth grade. What started off as a friendship, developed into something much more. They went on to have four children together, April, Daniel, Ashley, and Clairesse. Though Laura and Brian went their separate ways, they remained supportive and great friends throughout life. Raising her children was the greatest joy of her life.
Laura had a zest for life and found joy in the simple things— her morning coffee, cheering on her Houston sports teams, collecting seashells at the beach, gardening, and most of all, being with her family.
A lifelong and devout Christian, Laura’s faith was the foundation of her life. She raised her children in the church and exemplified grace, kindness, and trust in God through every season.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Evelyn Seaberry, and her adored dog, Zsa Zsa Gabor.
Laura is survived by her siblings: Andrea and Curtis Pardon, Marsha and Pat Hemphill, and her former husband, Brian Biggs.
Her memory lives on through her children: April and Kurt Coburn, Daniel Biggs and Emilee Illig, Ashley and David Melchor, and Clairesse and Daniel Harmon, as well as her nephew and seven nieces.
Laura leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Keith, Arlen and Margot Coburn, Vera and Violet Melchor, and Hayes Harmon.
