

On June 2, 2015, Lucille Alexander went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born December 28, 1925, in Brodhead, KY and was a proud Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Homer Alexander.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Gwen Alexander of Spring, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Bob Fischer of Pearland, TX; grandchildren, Tori Anderson and her husband, Matt, of Pearland, TX; Tiffany Allen and her husband, Chris, of Pearland, TX; Kaycie Wall and her husband, Andrew, of Fresno, CA; Ryan Kessner and his wife, Kelly, of The Woodlands, TX; Jordan Kessner and his wife, Andrea, of Magnolia,TX;
great-grandchildren, Reagan Anderson, Nicole Anderson, CJ Anderson, Oliver Wall, Sydney Wall, Vivian Wall, and Layla Kessner.
Lucille was a resident of Pasadena for 66 years and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Pasadena since 1952. She had a keen sense of humor, elegant style, and a true zest for life. Her greatest loves were the Lord and her family. Throughout her life she enjoyed bowling, playing bridge, crocheting, fishing, and working the Daily Jumble. She loved to watch sports on TV, especially basketball and her beloved Kentucky Wildcats.
The family is extremely grateful to the doctors and staff at Patients Medical Center who cared for her during her recent illness, especially Dr. Robert Haden, Rose Cummings, and Obinna Nwankwo.
Lucille was a joyous, loving, caring, and generous person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 10 :00 am on Saturday, June 6, 2015 in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
