Maria Guadalupe Halley 01/28/1938-07/30/2024

Maria Halley, 86, of Deer Park, TX entered the arms of God, July 30, 2024 and is in Eternal Rest after a short and unexpected illness.

Born January 28, 1938 in Laredo, TX. Her first job was at the malt shop inside Walgreens as a teenager. She volunteered as a Red Cross Nurse, worked in catering and served with The NCO clubs at McDill AFB in Tampa, FL and Webb AFB in Big Spring, TX. When she retired in 1980, she moved to Deer Park, TX where she became a full time mom, grandmother and great grandmother.

A spiritual woman of great integrity, with a huge heart and a giving spirit. She cherished every moment spent with her family.

She is survived by her three children, Cynthia, Al and Michelle; grandchildren Kristin, Samuel, Elizabeth, Christopher and Jordan; and great grandchildren Sierra, Kaden, Andrew, Logan and Cooper. As well as her loving siblings and rest of the family.

Although Maria has sadly left us, she is now reunited with her husband Charles Halley; her grandson Richard Allen Alward; granddaughter Halley Elizabeth Hulse; her beloved parents Catarino and Rosenda Rodriguez; and so many more she has missed that are in Heaven.

Though we mourn her loss, we take great comfort in knowing she is surrounded by love and light in the embrace of her Creator. Maria’s legacy of devotion and kindness will live in our hearts forever. Her memories will be held dear by all who knew her and will never be forgotten.

A Memorial Service has been planned for August 23, 2024 at 10 AM at Grand View Funeral Home 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505, along with being laid to rest with her husband at 1:15 PM at the Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038
