Marilyn Kay Alford Garlington passed away in Pasadena, Texas on June 13, 2013 at the age of 67. She was born on January 26, 1946 in Pasadena, Texas to Jacob Barton Alford and Grace Dillman Alford. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Alford; sister, Ann Alford; and granddaughter, Rachel Sharon. She is survived by her brother David Alford and his wife Barbara; son, Greg Crawford and his fiancé Stacey Moore; daughters, Rhonda Carrasco and her husband Raul, Deana Taylor and her husband Jason; grandchildren, Cody Crawford and his fiancé Julie, Morgan Crawford, Brad Greene, Blake Greene, Reaghan Greene, Richard Sharon, Ryan Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Gracie Taylor; and sister in law, Glenna Alford Simpson and her husband Gerald. The family of Marilyn would like to extend a special thank you for the loving, and compassionate care given to Marilyn by the staff of Pristine Hospital and Altus Hospice.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, June 17, 2013 in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
