Hi sissy. I miss you so much. We had our final fiesta at church today.  How I have missed you during this time of transformation. There were so many exciting changes and every time I couldn't help but wish you were next to me witnessing the events!  I miss your sweet voice and singing with you in choir. I miss seeing you overcome by God's presence but I can only imagine the Glory you are in now.  I have dreamt you smiling at me and it fills me with joy! I love you sissy.

Hey Grambo. I thought by now the pain wouldn't hurt so much, but the truth is I find it hurts more now than ever. I see girls walking around with their moms and wonder why that couldn't be me. I really wish you were here to see all your beautiful grandchildren. I see so much of you in Adelina. And I think of how much she would've loved you. Sometimes when I'm having a rough day she'll randomly walk up to me and hold my face and ask me if I'm ok. Then she'll give me a big kiss and a hug and will just sit there and hold me. A 2 year old. I always wonder if it's you. I have a big day coming up in a few months. It'll be my first time there without you. I'm praying for the strength to get through it all without you here. Keep looking over us. I know you always have and always will. I'll do everything I can to make sure who you were lives on through us and our children and our children's children. If I could line up all the moms in the world I'd pick you again. I was truly blessed with the best one. I meant it when I said it to you then and I whole heartedly still mean it now. I love you Mom.

I really try to be strong but sometimes I just can't keep it in. I miss you so much that words can not explain.  I remember being a kid and feeling like you were invincible. Now your gone and i can't wrap my head around this all. I understand it's Gods will and it will all make sense one day but this is today. Your birthday is around the corner and I hope you pay us a visit.  You live every day through each one of us and it's pretty amazing. I really miss you.  I have never been as close to the Lord as I am now and it's because of you.  The Lord takes the strong to help the weak. I had the same prayer for 2 years now and until everything happened is when my new journey started. Thank you for being such a big influence in me. When I hear a sermon or a pastor or even read about a Godly woman it warms my heart to know that exactly what you were. When I see what you left here on this earth I say wow!!! Thank you for everything you left behind for us. We still pray for you and Bella always ask about you and when I say always like every other day. She's so excited to go to heaven to see you. She says it all the time. We love and miss you so much!!!

It's been three months now. Still miss you more and more every day. I hope you see that I really am trying to be strong and keep my faith. I hope one day I can make sense of all this.  Sometimes I get a little down just because I know I'll never see you again.  It's so funny that I can still hear the little things you say all the time. You made such an impact on my life and now that your not here I really see it. Well our first thanksgiving with out you physically here is around the corner. I'm not looking forward to that.  Little mari, I mean jo, is doing the planning.  Hope to know your there with us. We'll work is getting busy and Ethan is getting older.  Doesn't get better than that. My best friend. I find myself crying missing you more and more these days. Not a day goes by that I don't constantly think of you. Not a day goes by that I don't think of ways to bring you back. I keep reliving our last few months together over and over again in my head questioning if I did enough. I stare at my dining room table and my heart just breaks. It was there that you taught me so much in so little time. I wish my kids could remember how much you loved them. That one really hurts. I can still picture the way your face lit up every time you'd see them. I have comfort in knowing how much they loved you back. I always show them pictures of you hoping that maybe by some miracle they'll remember you and the memories y'all made. I've learned to focus my grief on my bible. It really does have all the answers. The more I read it the more I realize how perfect you were. I miss you mommy. I love you more than words could ever explain. Watch over us and fill us with your wisdom. I'll be forever thinking of you.

It's two months today. I really miss you a lot. I have been doing better until today.  Jo sent me a picture of you and every memory of you flashed before me.  I wish I had told you how much you meant to me and how Special you are.  I feel like a big baby when I cry my eyes out for you. It's. Been so hard. Well I'll keep fighting. how's heaven?  I bet you are hosting cake classes and probably giving God decorating tips haha.  I see pictures of you and it's so filling, it's as if for those few seconds your alive again.  God has kept his promise and never left us alone through this. Tell him I said thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I sometimes wonder how you feel about this, then I remember conversations we've had when you said " when it's my time, I'll be ready" then I'd say no mom what about us? In which you replied  I've taught ya enough and that we had to continue to move on because you were happy.   I miss you so much and I'll never stop thinking about you!  Good night mom, I love you

It's been a month since you went home. I thought it would be easier as time went on but it only gets harder. I miss you more now than ever before and by the looks of it, that will only grow. I hope we are making you proud. We are sticking together to get through this. I pray for god to help me at times. A part of me is no longer here but spiritually I know you are with me every day.  I wish I could hear you laugh and see you smile just one more time.  My only hope is heaven to see you again.  Please watch over me and guide me as you did when you were here. I still can't believe you're gone. This all just feels like a bad dream that I haven't woken up from. I find myself thinking that you're still in the hospital and I'm just waiting for you to get better so we can go back home. Oh my dear queen, if you only knew how much I miss you. I have no words to express the emtyness within my heart, how difficult is to be without you. I miss your voice, I miss your laughter but more than anything I miss you right next to me. Thanks for my princess and my prince, they are the source of my strength. Thanks for all the years together, thanks for all the kids, you would of been so proud of them. They fought with me to the very end to keep you here, I feel so proud of them, they are also my strength. I am glad that we will see you again in that glorious day. In the mean time if possible just keep an eye over all of us. I am so proud of you and all the things that you accomplished here. I know that The Lord has a great reward for you there, I wish I could of seen you walking in to heaven, it must of been glorious. I wil see you again. I love you so much!

Marina was a wonderful woman who brought peace to a situation & tone that rarely changed. I'm honered to have gotten a chance to know her. May GOD have mercy & give strenth to her husband, children, grandchildren, & extended family & friends.

We will miss you.. Ill never forget all the fun momments we had  fixing up class 5. And going camping.. Ill never forget that you were there for me when i had just gotten back to Houston.. You gave me great advice and it worked :). One day will see you again!! You will always be loved and remembered!

Marina was such a beautiful soul, and we had fun together at Matthys. I know that she loved The Lord and I WILL see her again!! I can rest easy in this promise. Prayers for the family!

Mari, I'm keeping my promise to you that I would make sure you look your best even as you lay asleep.  I'm sure you have seen the outpouring love from everyone.  Your kids are amazing even now that your gone.  You taught them so well sister.  I'm so proud of the work of your hands.  I miss you my sis, my friend, my twin.  Heaven is brighter now that you are there.  I can hear you singing with the angels and know you are fluttering your voice and hitting those notes just right.  I love you dearly and will think of you every day.  You gave me wings when I needed them  most. Save a place for me in the choir in heaven because one day we will be sing together again.

Marina was a wonderful co-worker and friend.  She was a beautiful woman both inside and out.  She had a big heart.  I was blessed to have met her.  She went above and beyond to help me.  I will miss her arroz con leche. Marina, you know I am very grateful for everything you did for me.  I will miss you amiga!

I will always remember the time the Lord allowed us together.  You were one of the first that welcomed me into the worship group. Loved our innocent jokes and appreciated all of your advice. You made me feel like family.  Then I had the pleasure of having you bake my wedding cake,  never had a cake so delicious since that day. You will always hold a special place in my heart.  <3 <3 <3

I am so glad to have known you. I truly thank God for the time we shared together. I will miss your surprise visits and of course the best oatmeal in the world.

We miss you so much!  I know you are in heaven looking down on us. I am truly blessed to have been your son. You were so amazing, I wish to have made you proud. You taught us to follow God and trust in Him in all we do.  You were such an inspiration to me.  I will miss eveything about you from your smile to you getting after me (even at 25 years old). We will all miss you Mari, we still cant believe you have left us. You're in a better place now. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Salinas and Gutierrez.

It still feels so sureal that you are not here with us.  All I can think of are the times in the English worship practices trying to get the songs right. We felt a huge part missing when you left to Saudia since you where the rock of the singers. Always telling us how the song went :D. I will always remember you and I know you are in a better place. You loved to worship and I know you are still doing that. You will forever be missed. See you soon

I wish I spent more time with you and get to know you more when you were in Houston. But when you got back from  Saudi Arabia thats when we shared our feelings. Since that day I found out how great person you were. One thing  for sure I know that God has a beautiful place for you. A big mansion with lots of flowers, with a white garment (special dress for you), and a new name in a white stone that only you know .  Jesus found your name in the book of life cause you confessed Jesus here in earth.
I will see you one day in our Father's house and live for the eternity with our beloved Jesus Christ.

 I worked with Marina at Matthys. She was a wonderful and kind friend.  She will be truly missed!

The first time I met Marina n spoke with her. I told my husband she is going to be my best friend. I couldn't wait for her to arrive in Saudia. I kept asking my husband have heard any word in the Salinas's family. He would say, you need to meet our people you can't be waiting for her. I would make him a face. One day the phone rang and I heard her say I'm here I was so happy I told her ok rest for 2 days n than call me n we can go to the stores shopping. My husband arrive from work n I told him I told you Marina will call ha ha. From their with became sisters. I am heart broken for the loss of my dear sister, friend. I Will See When I See You.

Mari, I can still hear your little giggle (hee hee hee) in my head.  I miss you so much already big sister!  You taught me so much about life even though you were only 2 years older than me.  You will always be in my heart.  I love you girl!!!

Tia Mari, you were a second mom to me. You didn't have 7 childre, you had 10 with me Monica & Meno. You have forever left a beautiful mark onmy heart.  I loved getting sick because I knew I got to spend the day with you.  You became "Kitty" (from that 70s show) because no matter what you always had a smile a that cute cute laugh that no one else had. You were such an inspiration to everyone.
