Martin Anaya, Jr., 60, passed away on October 22, 2011, in La Porte, TX. He is survived by his wife, Maria Anaya; daughters, Maria Arizpe, Nadia Iglesias, Lizette Huitron; son-in-laws, Jesus Arizpe, Joel Iglesias, Homero Huitron; grandchildren, Armando and Erik Arizpe, Alejandro, Diego and Anahi (expected soon) Iglesias, Izaias Huitron; parents, Martin and Elvira Anaya; brother, Adelaido Anaya; sisters, Angelita Garza, Delia Estrada, Aurora Chapa, Guadalupe Garcia and numerous loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at 10: 00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in La Porte, TX. A Rite of Interment will follow at La Porte Cemetery in La Porte, TX.
