Matthew is survived by his father, Lorenza Lee Morehouse, and his mother, Linda Berry Compte. He is also remembered by his sister, Melissa Leigh Morehouse Thurston, and his brother, Michael Lawrence Morehouse. His legacy continues through his son, Brent Morehouse, and his daughter, Jade Morehouse Wade.
