Micaela Caridad Lopez, 92, passed away on January 25, 2011 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born on September 29, 1918 in La Habana, Cuba to the late Antonio Lopez and Margaret Cornelia Valdez Juvier. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Rodolfo Azcuy and Isidro Valdez. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving son, Isidro Valdez; daughters, Rose Martinez, Myra Rodriguez and fiancé Vincent; grandchildren, Rebecca Martinez, Roxanne Alexi, Leslie Valdez, Jason Rodriguez and wife Samantha, Vanessa Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Evangeline, Annaka and MacKenzie Rodriguez as well as several other loving family members and friends. The family will receive guests from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 28, 2011 with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Saint Juan Diego Catholic Church, 3301 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena.
