

Miguel was born in Cieneguilla, Durango, Mexico. He was a resident of Pasadena, Texas, for over 45 years. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Rita Nava, whom he loved and protected dearly. Together, they enjoyed spending their retirement years at their Goodrich Ranch. Miguel "PaPa" Nava will be greatly missed by his loving wife Rita and family. He was the true definition of hard work and dedication, with over 40 years in the construction industry. His sons meant the world to him, and all his grandkids and great grandkids were his pride and joy. For those who truly knew him knows how much he loved and protected his wife Rita and for those that got the honor to go with him to the Casinos.
Papa is now "Disfrutando de los Casinos en el Cielo!"
Miguel was preceded in death by his parents Miguel Angel Nava and Amelia Alvarado, brothers Esteban Nava and Primitivo Nava, and sisters Consuelo Munoz Nava and Rosario Fiscal Nava.
Miguel is survived by his loving wife, Rita Nava, and a large, devoted family including brothers Ricardo Nava and Jaime Nava. son Raul Nava and wife Joni Nava, granddaughters: Kara Nava and Samantha Nava; son Marcos Nava and wife Alejandra Nava, grandsons Esteban "money boy" Angel Nava (Fiancée Destyine Seibera) and William Anthony Nava; son Roberto Nava and wife Melanie Michele Nava, granddaughter Mariah Rita Sebesta (husband Michael Sebesta) and great-grandchildren: Malcolm Robert Sebesta and Margot Rose Sebesta, granddaughters Dominique Nicole Nava and Bella Luna Nava; son Miguel A. Nava Jr. and wife Gabriela Nava, grandson Michael Nava (wife Samantha Nava), great-grandchildren: Zachary Ethan Nava, Kyle Jessie Nava, and Blake James Nava. Granddaughter Erica Nicole Ulmer (husband Chad Ulmer Sr.) great-grandchildren Arin Ulmer and Chad Ulmer Jr., grandson Carlos Andres Nava (wife Lorena Gomez) great-grandsons: Aaron King Nava and Julian Ari Nava, granddaughter: Evelyn Nava (Fiancé Manuel Gonzales Sr.) great-grandchildren: Manuel Gonzales Jr., and grandson: Eric Flores (wife Veronica Flores) and great-grandsons: Oscar Flores and Beau Flores.
Visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, on April 14, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Miguel's life will take place at Grand View Funeral Home on April 15, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Immediately following, he will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
