

Nina Claudia McDaniel Bradley of Deer Park, TX was born on September 30, 1927 in Houston, TX to Clyde McDaniel and Winnie Inglish McGuire. She passed away on July 9, 2014 in Pasadena, TX. Nina was raised in Houston and graduated from Milby High School. She worked for Humble Oil Co. and volunteered as a stage manager at the Alley Theatre in Houston in the early 1950's. Nina met her husband, Tyrus Raymond Bradley (Ty) on New Year’s Eve 1952 on a blind date set up by friends Nelda and Louis Heinze. They married on November 24, 1953 in Houston, TX. They made their home in Houston then moved to Deer Park in 1958 where they raised their three children. Nina was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was also one of the oldest and longest members of Deer Park United Methodist Church, where she served on the advisory board. Nina is preceded in death by her husband Ty; her parents; and brother, George McDaniel.Nina is survived by her 3 children, Darryl Bradley and wife Janet ,Shawn Bradley, Ann Canik and husband Rusty; 5 grandchildren, Erin Bradley Cary and husband Mark, Kevin Bradley, Julie Canik Gale and husband Nathan, Joseph Canik and John Canik; 4 great grandchildren, Madison and Brendan Cary, Iris and Ramona Gale. Visitation will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM: Funeral service to celebrate Nina's life will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Grand View Funeral Home.
