Noe Vasquez, 70 of Pasadena, Texas was born June 26, 1951 in Brownsville, Texas to Castulo and Juana (Gomez) Vasquez and passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Noe was full of life, always joking with family and friends and never met a stranger. He was loved by all who knew him; he was a devout catholic and member of the Knights of Columbus; he was very involved in his church, San Juan Diego Catholic Church; he was also a huge sports fan supporting the Houston Astros, Dallas Cowboys and The Texas A&M Aggies. He was also a very patriotic man who was very proud to have served his country in the United States Navy. He was also supportive of his family and his children’s activities while growing up. He was the youngest of 11 children.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Cisneros Vasquez; children, Kimberly (Mike) Vasquez Hammer, Krystal (Barry) Vasquez Groaning, and Kevin Noel Vasquez; grandchildren, Sean Andrew Rivera and Logan Parker Groaning; sisters, Mavi (Baldomero) Torres and Norma Vasquez; brother, Charlie (Maria) Vasquez; brothers-in-law, Armando (Elvia) Cisneros and Gary (Laura) Cisneros; sisters-in-law, Gloria Vasquez and Nellie Vasquez along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Castulo Vasquez, mother, Juana Gomez Vasquez; brothers, Castulo Vasquez, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth; Juan Vasquez and his wife, Chela; Roberto Vasquez, Leonel Vasquez, and Rene Vasquez; his sisters, Minerva Mora and Natalie Martin and her husband, Ralph.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at San Juan Diego Catholic Church with burial following at Houston National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening, August 30, 2021 at Grand View Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Luis Carlos Vasquez, Jr., Marco A. Vasquez, Juan Alfonzo Vasquez, Daniel E. Vasquez, Marc A. Mora and Michael J. Torres.
