Ora Nell Schulenberg-Jones, who was born in Brenham, TX to Edna and Oscar Bode on Mar. 27, 1919, passed away on Nov. 16th. Ora Nell, known as "Mickey", was a devoted wife of Robert Schulenberg of Pasadena for 57 years and Royce Jones of La Porte for 11 years. Mickey is survived by her loving daughter Carolyn Byrne and her husband, Reagan of Houston as well as her son Bob Schulenberg and wife Judy of VA. Mickey was blessed with 5 grandchildren: Cody Byrne and Brady Byrne of Austin, and Stephany Bellomo, Glen Schulenberg and Bobby Schulenberg of VA. She had three great grandchildren, Ava, Alex and Kayla also from VA. Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Billy Bode of El Campo, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
For many years, Mickey served as Supervisor of the City of Pasadena's Water Department. She greatly enjoyed her friends and family and relished getting together with them for holidays, socials and dances.
Services will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505. Visitation: Sat, Nov. 19 at 2:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm. Internment will be at Prarie Lea Cemetery, Brenham, TX on Mon., Nov. 21 at 11:00 am.
