Rita Gayle Gilchrest, 84, of Pasadena, TX was born on February 25th, 1936 in Soper, Oklahoma to parents Dana and Lela Page and entered into rest on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Rita married Ernest Gilchrest and dedicated her life to raising her family. In her spare time, Rita loved dancing, camping, playing bingo, and listening to country music.
Rita is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Gilchrest and sisters, Carolyn, Ellen, and Betty. She is survived by her siblings, Monroe and Judy; children, Cindy Bailey, Becky Gilchrest, and Monte Gilchrest; grandchildren, Jason Smalling (Toni), Sean Ray Gilchrest, Eric Baswell, Dustin Gilchrest (Ofilla), and Trista Zwierzynski, and 13 great grandchildren.
