Rogelio F. Martinez, age 73, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at his residence. He was born on March 6, 1939, in Piedras Negras, Coah., Mexico, to the late Felix Martinez and surviving mother, Maria Ana Martinez.
He is preceded in death by his son, Rogelio Martinez, Jr., and sister, Diamantina Martinez.
He is survived by daughter, Ana Delia Martinez and her husband Martin,; sons, Victor and Felix Martinez; sisters, Maria Martha de la Garza and Maria O. Espinoza; 9 grandchildren, Adan, Isabel, Vanesa, Cynthia, Jesus, Carina, Josue, Daniel and Damary; 3 great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 7, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. beginning in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with a Rite of Interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
