Mr. Russell Vernon Patterson, age 86, of Deer Park, Texas, passed on into the presence of The Lord on May 25, 2015. A chapel service will be held on Friday, May 29th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home & Memorial Park. Visitation hours will be between 12:00 – 2:00 PM.
Mr. Patterson was born May 21, 1929 to the late Ora Patterson and Leatric White. He was a Member and Honorary Trustee of Central Baptist Church. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Co. after 35 years. He was Honorably Discharged from The United States Navy on January 28, 1952. He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife of 52 years: Dorothy Victoria Elwood-Patterson, along with a baby daughter (Jacquelyn) and young son (Russell O. Patterson).
Mr. Russell Patterson is survived by: His son (Rodney S. Patterson), daughter (Robin R. Payne), son-in-law (Mike Payne), daughter (April B. Riddle), son-in-law (Robert T. Riddle), six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
